Managing partners at Womble Bond Dickinson have imposed a £300 “carbon fee” on all business-class flights, with the proceeds going to support an oyster restoration scheme in Hampshire. The policy has already produced significant results, with a 30 per cent drop in the firm’s use of business-class flights from the previous year.
