Hackathon for the Planet
The first ever Chancery Lane Project Hackathon took place on 8 Nov 2019
The LSA is proud to be a partner in The Chancery Lane Project which was conceived at an LSA event in Climate Action Week in July and launched formally at the LSA Climate Strike Week breakfast on 25th September. This joint initiative is being supported by The Law Society, Client Earth, Law with Ethics and is led by Matt Gingell, General Council at Oxygen House.
The Chancery Lane Project is the code name for the focused and collaborative effort of UK lawyers to develop new contracts and model laws to help fight climate change. The first ever ‘hackathon’ was held on 8 November 2019.
