LSA 10th Anniversary Report 2017

We are delighted to announce the publication of the LSA’s 10th Anniversary Report 2017.

As well as taking a look back over the LSA’s progress since it was formed in 2007, the Report highlights the activities of a number of leading members and provides some insights from key stakeholders about the continued need for action by the legal sector to tackle climate change and embed sustainability into their practices.  It also looks ahead and identifies some of the issues the LSA will be addressing as we begin our second decade.

We hope the Report helps to start a discussion about the relevance of the issues highlighted to the legal profession and the role the LSA can play in supporting firms to address these.  Please contact us if you would like be part of that discussion.

The 10th Anniversary Report also provides a summary of the results from the 57 LSA member firms who reported their carbon footprint using the LSA Carbon Reporting Tool (managed on behalf of the LSA by Greenstone), as well as headlines from this year’s Membership Principles survey.

The Main Report can be downloaded here

The Annex to the Report, which contains the individual carbon footprints of reporting firms, can be downloaded here

A Benchmark Report, which compares the performance of all reporting firms across each of the key aspects of their carbon footprint, is available LSA members to download from the Member Area of this site.

A huge “thank you” to all LSA members who reported this year!
