Nature Impacts – Bridging the Divides

LOCATION: Online, 12.30-1.30pm

Last month, UK barristers clarified that directors of companies already have duties to consider their company’s nature-related risks. TNFD recommended disclosures are being voluntarily adopted by UK businesses and law firms and are on the horizon to become best practice or mandatory. However there are currently gaps to be bridged between a) understanding of nature and climate, b) sustainability, legal and support teams within firms and c) the understanding of sustainability for law firms as organisations and the recognition of advised nature and climate impacts of legal advice.

This webinar is designed to equip you to take advantage of the opportunities that this evolving landscape presents, empowering you to make a difference, both through the operations in your own firms and through legal advice as a valuable (and measurable) contribution towards clients’ nature-positive transitions.

With Jenni Ramos of the Commonwealth Climate and Law Initiative (CCLI).
